SEO Tools – Web Developer Review

This is the first of the SEO tool reviews I will do, and its on one I use quite a lot.

Web Developer by Chris Pederick is a plugin available for Firefox and an extension on Chrome.

The tool has many useful scripts to display information about a particular pages CSS (useful when you trying to figure out the font that was used) or my favourite, the images – from image dimensions to image paths.  You can outline the background images as well.

More often than not it is a lot simpler to use Web Developer to find out a specific bit of information about an element on a page rather than trying to dig through the code yourself.

I personally give Chris 5 stars for this tool and recommend it highly to anyone in the Web Development on SEO industry.
